How we use cookies & analytics
AuditAim is a compliance company, so we hold our own site to the standard we ask of others. We run no advertising trackers, and we set no analytics cookies without your explicit consent.
What we store
1. Strictly necessary — no consent required
If you make a choice in our cookie banner, we store a single first-party cookie,
aa_consent, recording whether you accepted or rejected analytics. It
contains no personal data, is readable only by this site, and expires after
180 days (after which we ask again). This cookie is exempt from
consent under the ePrivacy Directive because it exists solely to honour your choice.
2. Cookieless analytics — no consent required
We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate visitor statistics. It sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and never tracks you across sites or builds a profile of you — so under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive it requires no consent. It loads for every visitor and we disclose it here for transparency.
3. Consent-gated tools — only with your consent
Until you click “Accept”, the tools below are not loaded at all and set no cookies. We initialise Google Consent Mode v2 in a default-denied state, and load each tool only after you consent.
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how the site is used. Once you
consent it sets cookies (typically _ga and _ga_<id>, used to
distinguish visitors and sessions). Data is processed by Google; we keep retention to the
minimum the product allows.
HubSpot (EU region) powers our contact and follow-up. Once you consent it
sets cookies such as hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc and
__hssrc, used to recognise returning visitors and link enquiries to a contact.
Data is processed by HubSpot.
You can change your mind at any time. Use the control (also in the footer) to accept or reject. Rejecting stops these tools from loading; you may also clear cookies in your browser.
Your rights & contact
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, or for any privacy question, contact us at info@auditaim.eu.
